Quick start
The Home page shows a path of four steps. Following it takes about half an hour, most of it playing.
1. Scan your PC#
Done automatically every time the app starts. Home shows your processor, graphics card, memory and screens, and Your PC in detail lists everything that was found. If the scan found setup problems, such as a monitor running at 60 Hz instead of 144 Hz or RAM without its memory profile, the box on the right points you to Manual & BIOS. Fix those first: they often matter more than any tweak. (Free version: Home says how many problems were found; Premium shows which.)
Steps 2 to 4 are part of Premium. In the free version you can use Cleanup and the basic tweaks right away.
2. Get AI presets (Premium)#
Open AI Presets, pick what matters most to you and, if you like, the game you want to tune for. Click Create presets. After a minute or two you get the number of presets you chose (1–5; 2–3 is a good start), each with a short explanation and what to expect. Two ready-made presets are there from the start if you want to begin without AI. More: AI presets.
3. Test them in your game (Premium)#
Start your game, open Test in game, pick the game from the list, tick the presets to compare and choose how long. Click Start test. The app switches presets one after another; you play the same scene each time and press F9 in the game to measure. More: Testing in your game.
4. Use the winner (Premium)#
Results shows which preset ran best compared with your original settings, and whether the difference is real or just normal variation. Use this preset makes the winner active. If no preset beat your setup, the app says so, and your original settings stay. More: Reading the results.
Afterwards#
- Test again after a big graphics driver or game update: results can shift.
- Want to try single settings? Tweaks lists all of them.
- Something feels off? Back to my original settings on the AI Presets page, or Settings → Undo all changes. See Safety and undo.
errors.log (Settings → Open data folder → logs).
